Design of Energy Transmission System for 4~18 GHz Ultra-wideband Traveling-wave Tubes
In order to meet the requirements of new generation of electronic warfare equipment for cross-band ultra-wideband TWTs,the matching optimization design and power capacity analysis of the en-ergy transmission system of 4~18 GHz ultra-wideband high-power TWT are carried out.The energy transmission system with input standing wave ratio better than 1.53 and output standing wave ratio better than 1.55 is designed through the comprehensive optimization of coaxial window,coaxial energy transmis-sion structure and the matching between energy transmission structure and high-frequency structure.The test result shows that the design method is reasonable and the energy transmission system matches well with the de-vice.Aiming at the power tolerance of the output system,the electrical reliability and thermal reliability of the en-ergy transmission window are analyzed from the aspects of peak power and average power.The experimental re-sults show that the energy transmission system can meet the application requirements of TWTs.
