摘要
针对Ka波段大回旋电子注回旋行波管设计了一个TE21模式输入耦合器.该输入耦合器结构为Y形功分器,将输入的矩形波导TE10模式转换为圆波导的TE21模式进行输出.本文对其转换原理进行了简要介绍,通过仿真确定了输入耦合器模型的参数,并加工出部件,并进行了实际测试,测试的结果满足Ka波段大回旋行波管的信号输入要求.
Abstract
An input coupler for a Ka-band large-orbit gyrotron traveling-wave tube(gyro-TWT)is de-signed.The input coupler is a Y-type converter,which transforms the TE10 mode in rectangular waveguide into the TE21 mode in circular waveguide.The transformation theory of it is briefly introduced,the param-eters are determined through simulation and a prototype is fabricated and tested.The test result meets the input requirements for the Ka-band large-orbit gyro-TWT.
