The latest development of a100 W Ka-band space traveling wave tube is introduced.Through measures such as long-life and high flux electron optical system designing,high efficiency and high lineari-ty beam-wave interaction optimizing,and high-efficiency energy recovery multi-stage depressed collector designing,a Ka-band space traveling wave tube for data transmission is developed with bandwidth of 2 GHz,P≥100 W,η≥60%and saturation phase shift≤50°.
