Analysis of Energy Consumption in Dry and Wet Operating Mode of Vertical Tube Indirect Evaporative Cooler and Mechanical Refrigeration Complex Air Treatment Unit
Under the premise of meeting the same air supply requirements,in order to study the operation energy consumption of the riser indirect evaporative cooling and mechanical refrigeration combined unit in the data center operation in both dry and wet modes,an experimental platform was built. The operation energy consumption of different dry and wet modes was tested and analyzed in the outdoor dry bulb temperature range of 3-7℃.The experimental results show that,Under the premise of the same air supply requirements, and the cooling capacity generated by the dry and wet modes is the same, the energy efficiency ratio of the wet mode is obviously greater than that of the dry mode.It is recommended to increase the running time of the wet mode.
