Scientific research integrity risks and ethical governance of ChatGPT application
As a new achievement with intensively creative AI features,ChatGPT has attracted widespread attention since it was applied.The strong capabilities in information integrating,formative autonomous self-studying and good man-machine interacting,at the time of providing strongly competitive auxiliary equipment in scientific research,also generates potential risks for research integrity.The main integrity risks that ChatGPT possibly causes in supplementing scientific research include information distortion,plagiarism and evil purpose of research.To avoid such risks,we must adopt ethical governance towards ChatGPT application.In applying ChatGPT,we must abide by transparency and informed principle,fair and justice principle and common responsibility principle.Only by strengthening the moral consciousness of researchers,building ethical review mechanism,and constructing research integrity control system,can we ensure that ChatGPT,in supplementing scientific research,can meet the requirements for scientific integrity and maintain moral justice.
