Ecological ontology and its practical significance from the perspective of Marxist Ecology
Based on the basic stand of Marxism and its classical works,Marxist Ecology has made a materialistic and dialectical illustration of the meaning of"Ecological Ontology."That is,it simultaneously insists on the material objectivity of natural ecology and the subject practice of human activities as a unified whole of man and nature. The extremely complex and arduous challenges of natural ecology, economy and society in today's world and the Chinese-style countermeasure of building a modernization of harmonious coexistence between man and nature in the new era provide a new discourse context for us to think deeply about this conceptual issue.Firstly, rethinking the issue of"Ecological Ontology"can further restore or reconstruct the materialistic dialectical characteristics of Marxist Ecology.Secondly, ecological ontology can enrich and expand the Marxist ecological theoretical system by elaborating a series of concepts such as"Ecological Threshold","Ecological Practice"and"Ecological Civilization."Thirdly,"Ecological Ontology"and its construction can more firmly establish the ontological academic support for the construction of Chinese modernization of harmonious coexistence between man and nature and socialist ecological civilization.
