Spatio-temporal analysis of the influence of digital inclusive finance on common prosperity
Analyzing the influence of digital inclusive finance on common prosperity from the viewpoint of space and time in geography, can provide not only a new perspective for scientifically understanding the relationship between digital inclusive finance and common prosperity, but also decision-making reference for formulating different regional policies of common prosperity.Based on the panel data of 260 prefecture level cities in China from 2011 to 2020,this paper effectively measures the level of digital inclusive finance and common prosperity, uses the global and local spatial autocorrelation analysis to detect their spatio-temporal distribution patterns, and then measures their spatio-temporal differences by using the Dagum Gini coefficient. Finally, the paper analyzes the spatio-temporal differences of the influence of digital inclusive finance on common prosperity by using geographically and temporally weighted regression(GTWR)model. The research results are shown as follows.Firstly, digital inclusive finance is basically in line with common prosperity, both presenting a growing trend year by year, and significant spatial clustering characteristics with hotspots largely distributed in the southeastern regions.Secondly, the overall differences between digital inclusive finance and common prosperity are relatively small, with the internal difference in digital financial inclusion within the central region being the smallest, while the internal difference in common prosperity within the eastern region being the largest, and the overall differences mainly originate from different regions.Thirdly, the influence of digital inclusive finance on common prosperity has spatio-temporal effect, revealing a belt-like distribution, which gradually increases from the west to the east, with the strongest impact consistently located in the Yangtze River Delta region.
