In order to achieve the healthy development of volunteerism,it is necessary to guide and support it not only from the administrative and legal dimensions, but also from the ethical dimension. From the ethical dimension,to guide and support the healthy development of volunteerism,at least the following three aspects should be done. The first is to clarify the ethical relationship of volunteerism, which,in general, mainly includes the relationship between volunteer service organizations and individual volunteers, between volunteer service organizations and volunteer service recipients, and between individual volunteers and volunteer service recipients. The second is to establish the ethical law of volunteerism, which should be followed by volunteer service, and which mainly includes the will of autonomy, the primacy of public good, selfless dedication, benevolence and love, integrity without delusion and being grateful. The third is to construct an ethical evaluation mechanism of volunteerism, which should pay attention to objectivity, systematicity, development and guidance.
