Study on Monitoring Technology for Frame Pier Crossbeam of Continuous Box Beam Bridge During Cantilever Construction
During the construction process of a large-span frame pier continuous box girder bridge, there may be unbalanced loads that cause the beam of the frame pier to be twisted. In order to eliminate the torsion of the frame pier,a counterweight method is generally used for construction monitoring. This article takes a frame pier large-span continuous box girder bridge on the Guangfozhao Expressway, which uses pier beam consolidation as the engineering background.Using structural mechanics methods, the theoretical calculation formula for the inclination angle of the end section of the frame pier beam changes with the unbalanced bending moment, and the calculation formula for the relationship between the horizontal displacement of the frame pier column and the unbalanced bending moment are derived. At the same time, the corresponding calculation formula for the weight relationship with the water tank is provided, and two monitoring methods were proposed for monitoring the frame pier crossbeam. The theoretical calculation formula in this article is compared with the numerical fitting formula obtained through finite element numerical analysis in the construction monitoring of the frame pier crossbeam of the bridge through practical engineering applications. The constant coefficients in the two formulas are basically equal, verifying the correctness of the proposed theoretical formula for monitoring the torsion of the frame pier crossbeam in this article. And a comparative analysis was conducted between the monitoring method of monitoring the inclination angle of the transverse end and the monitoring method of monitoring the horizontal displacement of the column. The research results of this article can provide assistance for construction monitoring of similar projects.
