Formation of the"Chang'an-Tianshan Corridor"in Tang Dynasty from the Perspective of Global History
The article discusses the formation and connectivity of the"Chang'an-Tianshan Corridor"in Tang dynasty through exploration on cross regional exchanges along the"Guanzhong-Semiryechye"route.From the per-spective of global history,it transcends the paradigm of national history based on the early modern"Eurocentrism"and the binary opposition of"agriculture"and"pastoralism".The author points out that in order to understand the relationship between Tang Dynasty and Central Asia,it is necessary to explore the formation mechanism of urban belts and their supporting role in the corridor from the geopolitical relationship of"Central Plains-Pastoralism-Oa-sis(Sogdiana)",in order to reunderstand and enrich the historical connotation of"China and its neighboring re-gions"as a community with a shared future.
