The Ninety Years of Stalin's Definition of Nation in China(1929-2019):with Discussion of Localization of Marxist Definition of Nation in China
The definition of nation is the core content of the ethnic theory and poticy of Marxism.As one of the most important Marxist-Leninist classic writers,Joseph Stalin gave the definition of нация/nation,which has great influence in China.The paper reviews the spread,debate and development of Stalin's definition of нация/nation in China since 1929.It argues that along with the beginning of the New Era under President Xi,the national-ethnic theory and strategy of Marxism in China has gained its innovative development.With the entry of the new era of so-cialism with Chinese characteristics,the Marxist ethnic theory has also made innovative development,and the un-derstanding of the definition of nation also gained its transformation.
