Influence of Multi-Ethnic Communication,Exchanges,and Integration on Traditional Dance Forms:A Case Study of Zhuoni Sham Dance in Gannan Prefecture
Located at the intersection of Han and Tibetan cultures,Zhuoni County in Gannan Prefecture is a gathering place for multiple ethnic groups,with the Tibetan ethnic group being the main one.Its unique geograph-ical location and cultural environment have resulted in a diversity of cultural styles shaped by the fusion of multiple ethnicities.Zhuoni Sham Dance is a typical embodiment of this cultural diversity.The formation patterns,props and costumes,ritual processes,movements,lyrics,and objects of worship in the dance are all influenced by vari-ous cultures.By using the theoretical paradigm of dance semiotics,this study describes the form of Sham Dance in the Zangbawa region of Zhuoni County,examines the discursive modes that constitute the language of Sham Dance,and analyzes the cultural environment and cultural connotations from the perspectives of context and semantics.The study also applies the theory of"acculturation"to discuss the cultural acculturation phenomenon and explores the presentation of multicultural integration in the form of Sham Dance.This research aims to investigate the impact of multi-ethnic interactions,exchanges,and integration on the formation of traditional dance forms,contributing to the consolidation of the ideological and cultural foundation of the sense of community for the Chinese nation.
