Formation Process and Logic of the Discourse on Consolidating a Strong Sense of Community for the Chinese Nation:Based on a Textual Analysis of People's Daily from 2014 to 2022
Consolidating a strong sense of community for the Chinese nation is the core essence of General Secre-tary Xi Jinping's important thought on strengthening and improving ethnic work,and it is the"main line"and"guid-ing principle"of the Party's ethnic work in the new era.Through text mining and discourse analysis methods on the theme of"consolidating a strong sense of community for the Chinese nation"in the reports of the People's Daily since the 18th National Congress of the Communist Party of China,it is found that the discourse of consolidating a strong sense of community for the Chinese nation has been continuously enriched and deepened,and a fixed discourse expression has been formed.The discourse of consolidating a strong sense of community for the Chinese nation has gone through the initial stage of"establishment","cultivation"and"nurturing",the formation stage of"consolida-ting",and the deepening stage of the"main line"and"guiding principle".The process of the creation and change of the discourse reveals the development process of the construction of the discourse of consolidating a strong sense of community for the Chinese nation.The article explores the development logic of the discourse of consolidating a strong sense of community for the Chinese nation from the perspective of practical discourse analysis on the text content,and it is found that the theoretical logic of the text is the theoretical basis for the formation of the discourse of consolida-ting a strong sense of community for the Chinese nation,the discourse logic is reflected in the discourse of consolida-ting a strong sense of community for the Chinese nation building a bridge between the text and the society,and the practical logic is reflected in the process of the discourse of consolidating a strong sense of community for the Chinese nation going towards multi-dimensional practice.This forms a new pattern of interaction between the central and local governments and theory and practice in all aspects,systematically,and in multiple fields.
