The concept of ethnic embedding transcends the traditional connotations of ethnic relations,displa-ying new characteristics of the era.The cohabitation model of"broad dispersion and small mixed residences"has transformed the traditional ethnic spatial distribution of"ethnic groups living together over vast areas while some live in individual concentrated communities in small areas",becoming a prominent feature of ethnic distribution at present and in the future.This spatial transformation has altered traditional ethnic relations,leading to new con-tents,characteristics,and approaches in managing these relations.With analysis of the perspective and specific content of ethnic embedding,the aim is to achieve embedding of various ethnic groups at social levels such as space,culture,and economy,thereby fostering psychological embedding among ethnic groups,promoting extensive communication,exchange and integration among them,enhancing mutual recognition among ethnic groups,and on these basis strengthening the identity of the Chinese nation.This represents a political awareness which is essential for consolidating a strong sense of community for the Chinese nation.
