Metaverse Empowering Education of Consolidating a Strong Sense of Community for the Chinese Nation in Colleges and Universities:Dimensions,Trends and Limits
As a new technology,new thinking and new method,Metaverse greatly expands the space-time boundary of higher education,and provides conceptual guidance,technical support and environmental guarantee for optimizing the education for consolidating a strong sense of community for the Chinese nation in colleges and univer-sities.Metaverse,with the characteristics such as high realism,open source and openness,and integration of virtu-al and real worlds,effectively empowers colleges and universities to build educational environments,develop educa-tional resources and design educational activities,so that the education for consolidating a strong sense of communi-ty for the Chinese nation in colleges and universities is gradually moving towards integration,embodiment and im-mersion.However,excessive and inappropriate use of the metaverse may trigger risks such as narrowing of students'cognition,privacy leakage and technological addiction,etc.Risks should be effectively avoided through measures such as strengthening the status of user control,limiting the scope of technological application and estab-lishing a mechanism for privacy protection and anti-obsession,so as to promote the sustainable application of meta-verse in education for consolidating a strong sense of community for the Chinese nation in colleges and universities.
