Five Basic Dimensions of Improving the Institutional Mechanisms for Consolidating a Strong Sense of Community for the Chinese Nation
The Third Plenary Session of the 20th CPC Central Committee proposed the enhancement of institu-tional mechanisms for consolidating a strong sense of community for the Chinese nation.How to navigate the practi-cal direction for improving these mechanisms is an urgent and important issue that requires thorough research.Based on the inherent attributes of the community of the Chinese nation as well as the political,economic,cultural,social,and legal foundations necessary for its construction,the institutional mechanisms with the aim of consolidating a strong sense of community for the Chinese nation should be coordinated accordingly.Specifically,this includes the following aspects:at the political level,improving the political institutional mechanisms that promote the nation-building of the Chinese people;at the economic level,enhancing and improving the economic institutional mecha-nisms that facilitate common prosperity for all ethnic groups;at the cultural level,accelerating the improvement of cultural institutional mechanisms that contribute to building a shared spiritual home for the Chinese nation;at the so-cial level,actively constructing the social institutional mechanisms that foster an interconnected social structure and community environment;and at the legal level,gradually improving the legal institutional mechanisms to elevate the rule of law in the governance of ethnic affairs.
