Research progress of mechanism of action of β-sitosterol-regulated signaling pathway in the treatment of breast hyperplasia
β-sitosterol is the main active ingredient of Angelica sinensis and other medicinal plants.It has antioxidant,cell cycle-regulating,apoptosis-promoting,and anti-inflammation effects.β-sitosterol can potentially play a therapeutic role in breast cancer by regulating signaling pathways such as estrogen,Wnt/β-catenin,PI3K/Akt,MAPK/ERK,and NF-κB.This study aims to elucidate the mechanism of β-sitosterol in the treatment of breast cancer and provide a theoretical basis for the clinical application and new drug development.
