Fingerprints and determination of major components in Garcinia cambogia plant beverage
Objective To establish an high performance liquid chromatography(HPLC)fingerprint for Garcinia cambogia plant beverage.Methods Ten batches of Garcinia cambogia plant beverage samples were analyzed by HPLC,and the stability between different batches was explored by peak identification,combined with similarity evaluation and principal component analysis.The contents of dihydromyricetin,myricetin and myricetin were also determined.Results HPLC fingerprints of Garcinia cambogia plant beverage were established,and 10 common peaks were calibrated.The similarity of the 10 batches of samples was greater than 0.9,and 3 peaks were confirmed.Cluster analysis and principal component analysis classified the 10 batches of samples into two categories.Conclusion The fingerprint of Garcinia cambogia plant beverage are highly credible and stable,and can be used for the quality control and content determination of Garcinia cambogia.
