Application of CBL-CDIO teaching model in clinical pharmacist consultation education
Objective To determine the effect of the case-based learning(CBL)-conceive-design-imple-ment-operate(CDIO)(CBL-CDIO)teaching model in clinical pharmacist consultation training to establish an efficient teaching model to enhance the practical skills in pharmacy consultation for clinical pharmacist trainees.Methods This paper detailed the components and characteristics of CBL-CDIO teaching model and demonstrated its application in real teaching through a case study in the consultation of central nervous system infection.Further,it delved into the design and implementation of this teaching model in clinical pharmacist consultation training.Results The implementation of CBL-CDIO teaching model in pharma-ceutical consultation received positive feedback from trainees and showed favorable outcomes in clinical pharmacist training.Conclusion The CBL-CDIO teaching model effectively addresses the lack of inter-action between teachers and trainees and the insufficient integration of theory and practice in traditional teaching methods,offering a clear and practical new model for clinical pharmacist consultation training.
