Objective To determine the use and demand of warfarin dosing algorithms among Chinese anticoagulant professionals.Methods An online questionnaire was prepared for the use of warfarin dosing algorithm by anticoagulantion professionals in various regions of China.The questionnaire included basic information of interviewees,clinical anticoagulantion treatment,use of warfarin administration algorithm,and functional requirements of mobile anticoagulation management system.Results Totally 399 participants from 199 Chinese hospitals completed the survey.About 87.97％of the anticoagulation professionals thought warfarin dosing algorithms helped,only 20.80％frequently used the dosing model in the anticoagulation therapy.About 35.34％never used any algorithms,and 96.99％of them were eager to use warfarin administration system in the treatment.Conclusion The warfarin dosing algorithm is highly regarded by medical professionals in China,despite its low utilization rate.Chinese medical professionals are willing to use models and management tools tailored to the Chinese population to facilitate warfarin treatment.
