Chemical composition of dibenzocyclooctene lignans from root bark of Schisandra sphenanthera
Objective To determine the chemical constituents of dibenzocyclooctene lignans from the root bark of Schisandra sphenanthera. Methods The petroleum ether parts of Schisandra sphenanthera were separated and purified by silica gel column chromatography, gel column chromatography and semi-preparative high performance liquid chromatography.Their structures were characterized with spectroscopic techniques according to their physicochemical properties. Results Totally 15 compounds were separated from the petroleum ether parts of Schisandra sphenanthera and identified as angeloylgomisin O(1),schizanrin M(2),tigloylgomisin P(3),methygomisin O(4),schisanwilsonin Q(5),gomosin G(6),interiotherin B(7),schizandrin(8),schisanwilsonin J(9),schisanwilsonin Ⅰ(10),schisantherin D(11),gomisin O(12),gomisin B(13),methygomisin R(14),and schisanwilsonin P(15).Conclusion Compounds 2,5,8~10,and 15 have been isolated from Schisandra sphenanthera for the first time.
