The report of the 20th National Congress of the Communist Party of China clearly pointed out that the new pattern of development should be safeguarded by the new security architecture.Digital technology innovation has become the key path to building a new development pattern in the context of comprehensive digitization.From the perspective of the practice of enterprise digital security protection,this paper empirically tests the impact of information security management on enterprise digital technology innovation.The paper finds that information security management promotes enterprise digital technology innovation,and the promoting effect mainly stems from the fact that information security management can enhance the demand for enterprise technological literacy and provide enterprises with more financing opportunities.Furthermore,the positive relationship between the two does not become heterogeneous with the enactment of the Cybersecurity Law,and the positive effect of information security management on digital technology innovation is more pronounced for state-owned enterprises as well as for enterprises without a risk management committee of the board of directors.
