Study on the Inheritance of Dai Elephant-foot Drum-making Techniques from the Perspective of Cultural Ecological Niches
"Cultural ecological niche"refers to a micro environment different from the macro ecological environment, which is the most intimate and important space for cultural matters.Qinghua Village in Lincang City, where the national intangible heritage Dai elephant-foot drum craft exists,is an urban ecological cultural space where the Dai and Han cultures are juxtaposed and mixed. The locally evolved Lincang elephant-foot drum craft needs not only to preserve the roots of cultural inheritance, but also to consider the problem of"degree"in production and development, and the theory of"cultural ecological niche"can provide an effective thinking in practice.Firstly, the holistic concept of"cultural ecological niche"can pay attention to the intangible heritage items;Secondly, when cultural masses coexist with intangible heritage items, the intervention of"others"in the protection of cultural production should not be at the center of the"niche"and participate in positive ways.In addition, the concept of"cultural ecological niche"is in line with the holistic and productive protection concept in China's intangible cultural heritage protection work, providing a new theoretical perspective for the inheritance of elephant-foot drum craft, and realizing its dynamic development.
