The Influence of Heritagization on the Heritage Identity of Youth——A Case of Yuanyang Terraces Site
Heritagization is an important approach to foster heritage identity,and the intergenerational transmission of heritage identity is essential for the sustainable development of heritage sites.This study employs content analysis of open-ended questionnaires to analyze the change of multi-ethnic youth's heritage identity following the heritagization of Yuanyang Terraces.The findings are as follows:①heritagization reduces youth's negative identity on aesthetic value of heritage while strengthening their positive recognition of its spiritual value,affiliation with Hani Ethnic Group and sense of place;②heritagization has different impacts on multi-ethnic youth's heritage identity.Firstly,heritagization has a more pronounced positive influence on the aesthetic value identity of the terraced landscape of non-Hani and Yi youth than that of Hani and Yi.Secondly,heritagization introduces greater diversity in the subject and spatial identity of non-Hani Youth more diverse than that of Hani Youth.
