Modern Interpretations and Reflections on the Ancient Iron Ore Smelting Sites in Henan Province
The inherent characteristics of mining and metallurgy sites result in various deficiencies in their excavation and understanding,which in turn restricts the research,protection and display of the sites.This study discusses the current state of interpretation of iron ore smelting sites in Henan Province.In combination with the lessons learned and insights gained from the interpretation process of typical mining and metallurgy sites both domestically and internationally,thus paper offers preliminary reflections and outlooks on the modern interpretation of ancient iron ore smelting sites in Henan Province from the perspectives of the directions,themes,perspectives,and modes of interpretation.
