Research on Modern Textile Industrial Heritage Site Conservation and Regeneration of Zhengzhou No.3 Textile Factory
China's modern textile industry is one of the major industrial types during the Westernization Movement,aimed at achieving national prosperity and economic strength through industrialization..This industry played a pivotal role in China's modern industrialization and holds significant importance in the nation's modern industrial history.Among the six major textile industrial bases established in the early days of the People's Republic of China,Zhengzhou No.3 textile factory stands out as one of the large scale industrial plant with high architectural quality and long opertational time.Based on the analysis of industrial heritage deterioration,structural evaluation,and the needs for museum display and utilization,a strategy was adopted to repair and reinforce the cultural relics,restore their original style,activate the exhibition space,and integrate new and old buildings.This approach facilitates the transformation of industrial architectural heritage into industrial heritage museums,providing a reference for the conservation and regeneration of modern textile industrial heritage.
