A method for evaluating the timeliness of air defense early warning intelligence based on radar detection performance
In the air defense warning operations, due to incomplete indicator systems,a lack of unified quantitative evaluation methods and various factors involved, the timeliness evaluation of early warning intelligence has always been a challenge. To address this issue,a method is given for evaluating the timeliness of air defense early warning intelligence based on radar detection performance.A clear definition of the timeliness of air defense early warning intelligence is provided.A calculation model for the timeliness of air defense early warning intelligence is constructed, which considers multiple factors such as target speed, equipment performance and route shortcuts.Through simulation tests, the functional relationship between the judgment period of target property information and the timeliness of air defense early warning intelligence is discussed. The simulation results indicate that the timeliness of early warning intelligence will gradually decrease with the judgment period of target property information increasing. This result verifies the effectiveness of the method for evaluating the timeliness of air defense early warning intelligence. In addition, for different radar equipment and target, this method can provide the differences in the timeliness of early warning intelligence, which can give a reference for accurately and uniformly evaluating the quality of air defense warning intelligence and optimizing the air defense warning process.
