Analysis of the 2022 version of FM3-0 Operations of the US Army
FM3-0 Operations is the US Army's capstone doctrine for guiding the Army Forces on how to conduct the operational actions.In recent years,under the strategic background of returning to great power competition,the US Army has developed the multidomain operations concept and continuously improved its operational capabilities in order to cope with the high-end wars in the future.Based on the in-depth analysis of the 2022 version of FM3-0 Operations,the theoretical,practical and combat background are described,and the important contents of new operational environment,the Army's basic operational principles,the Army's maritime operations,and the main competitors'threats are summarized.In addition,the main features of this version of FM 3-0 Operations are summarized,and some opinions are put forward.Through systematical analysis,it can be concluded that the multidomain operations is regarded as the Army's operational concept,taking this concept as the core to shape the future operational framework,and marking a milestone in the process of the US Army's multidomain transformation.
