Annual review on development of foreign military space situational awareness capabilities in 2023
An overview of the development of foreign military space situational awareness systems in 2023 is presented to analyze the annual development in the field from seven specific perspectives:threat objects,system integration,capability upgrades,technological innovation and operational applications.A forward-looking perspective on future development trends is provided.It is evident that with the large-scale development of low-earth orbit constellations,the space environment will become increasingly complex and congested.To address this challenge,it is needed to fully integrate existing radar and electro-optical sensor equipment,enhance data transmission and information fusion capabilities,strengthen the ability to discern the intentions of threatening targets,develop new deep space exploration methods,and comprehensively upgrade space situational awareness capabilities.
