Generally,flight control systems face the issue of being hard to precisely model,Whereas,as a typical data-driven control method,model-free adaptive control(MFAC)only relies on the system output data to update its control law,thereby showing a wide application prospect in flight control systems.The recent development of MFAC in flight control systems is reviewed.the solutions to different challenges in flight control systems offered by this control method is summarized.For the combined aircrafts of performing on-orbit service,the superiority of the MFAC method is analyzed,and their applications and current development status are presented.The further application and development of MFAC method in flight control system is prospected.
