Weight reflects the essentiality of an index in general quality characteristics evaluation,and it is the key problem in helicopters general quality characteristics evaluation.A method of deter-mining index weight in helicopters general quality characteristics evaluation based on information en-tropy was presented.The index weight evaluation matrix was established based on collection of ex-perts'opinion,the entropy weight and discrimination of experts'evaluate were calculated,and then the discrimination was translated to the reliability factor.The index weight was subjective and objec-tive determined by amendment of reliability factor.It put forwarded a new method to determine index weight in helicopters general quality characteristics evaluation.
