The objective was to establish a method for simultaneous determination of chlorogenic acid and geniposide in Yinzhi Jiedu granules by RP-HPLC.RP-HPLC method was developed.The separation was performed on a C18 column(250.0 mm×4.6 mm,5 μm)with isocratic elution using acetomitrile-methanol-0.1％phosphate solution(11:8:81)as mobile phase,and column temperature was 30℃.The flow rate was 1 mUmin and the UV absorbance was monitored at(235±1)nm.The results showed that the linear range of chorogenic acid was 0.094 3-0.754 4 µg,r=0.999 999(n=5),the mean recovery was 99.25％(n=6);that of geniposide was 0.197 1-1.576 6 µg,r=0.999 999(n=5),and the mean recovery was 99.56％(n=6).The method can be used for quality control of Yinzhi Jiedu granules with simplicity,accuracy and reliability.
