Isolation, identification and antibacterial activity analysis of new species of Bacillus
Bacillus has a strong ability to resist external environmental pressure and non-toxic side effects, and it is the focus of the development of feed probiotic additive strains. In order to find and explore new Bacillus strains as feed probiotic additives, the antibacterial activity of Bacillus strains was studied. In this experiment, two strains of Bacillus were isolated from the sediment of fish culture pond and the bottom mud of turtle pond by heating separation method. After morphological observation, biochemical identification and 16Sr DNA sequencing comparison, genetic evolution tree analysis was established, and drug susceptibility and antibacterial activity of the strains were tested. The results showed that the two isolates were both new strains of Bacillus, named Bacillus sp X102 and Bacillus sp X901 respectively. Both strains were sensitive to 7 common drugs, and had strong inhibitory effects on Staphylococcus aureus and Escherichia coli indicator bacteria. The new Bacillus strains developed in this study laid an important foundation for the development of animal probiotic strains.
