Safety evaluation of andrographolide sulfonate injection in pigs
The purpose of this study was to investigate the safety of intramuscular injection of andrographolide sulfonate injection on target animal pigs.Thirty-two healthy piglets were selected and divided into control group,high-dose group,medium-dose group and low-dose group. They were administered at doses of 25 mg/kg,15 mg/kg and 5 mg/kg,respectively for 3 days, once daily. The clinical manifestations of each dose group after administration and the effects on physiological and biochemical indexes were observed. At the end of the experiment, the experimental animals in the high-dose group and the control group were dissected and histopathologically examined. The results showed that after 7 days of continuous administration, the clinical manifestations of the animals in each dose group were normal, and there was no significant difference in blood physiological and biochemical indexes compared with the control group. There were no obvious pathological changes related to the drug in the organs and tissues of the animals. This experiment shows that andrographolide sulfonate injection has no obvious adverse reactions to target animal pigs by intramuscular injection, and has high safety.
