The track vibration reduction design of the rolling stock depot developed on the upper cover is mostly divid-ed by the line inside the depot and the line outside the depot.Vibration reduction measures are taken according to the require-ments of the environmental assessment report.Generally,no special vibration reduction design is necessary at the entrance of the depot.Currently,the scheme of adding ballast bed and road crossing slab to the depot entrance of the operation line is of-ten adopted.After the completion of several upper cover development projects,it is found that the vibration of the buildings at the depot entrance is much greater than that of other structures in the depot.In this study,the vibration values of a depot in the blank room stage and the stage after adding the surface layer and partition wall are selected and tested.The data shows that the vibration value at the entrance of the depot is greater than that inside the depot section,and the vibration value at the end of the depot is the minimum.In view of this,the simulation analysis of the impact of different stiffness of the depot en-trance on the vibration of buildings is carried out,and the pertinent stiffness is found to be 15 kN/mm.Considering the vibra-tion reduction effect,economy and construction convenience comprehensively,it is suggested that the entrance of the upper cover development section should be designed as a monolithic track bed and laid with vibration reduction fasteners.
