Analysis and Optimization of Aerodynamic Noise Characteristics of Double-stage Electric Air Compressors
With the rapid development of new energy vehicles, the noise caused by fuel engines in vehicles no longer exists, while the noise generated by the operation of air compressors is highlighted. This article focuses on the noise problem of a certain type of electric air compressors, and comprehensively uses numerical simulation software such as ANSYS and STAR-CCM+,as well as a semi anechoic laboratory for research.First of all,the significant frequency band of aerodynamic noise is counted by building the air path model and analyzing the noise characteristics of the double-stage air compressor, and combining with the coherence analysis of the vibration noise of the air compressor. Then, based on the results of modal acoustics, the orthogonal experimental method is used to analyze the influence of gas pipeline parameters on aerodynamic noise, and an optimized design scheme for gas pipeline is proposed.Further simulation shows that the broadband noise of the air circuit of the electric air compressor is reduced by about 8.1 dB compared to that before optimization, which achieves the expected goal. This work provides a reference for the further application of the air compressors.
