The system pipeline is one of the main noise sources of ships,and flexible connections are the main means to reduce the transmission of pipeline vibration and noise.In order to improve the vibration isolation effect of flexible noz-zles,this paper conducts theoretical analysis and experimental research on the influence of flexible nozzle length on vibra-tion transmission in pipeline systems.Research results show that extending the flexible nozzle is beneficial for increasing the vibration attenuation level of the pipeline,but its effect on low-frequency vibration attenuation is limited.The research con-clusion is of great significance for the reasonable selection of flexible nozzle length and the low noise design of pipeline sys-tems.
