Experimental Study on Propulsion Shafting Based on Vibration Damping Technology
The excitation force generated by the propeller rotor will pass through the shafting and hull to produce radiation noise.Damping installation is an important method of system vibration control and optimization.Its main function is to attenuate the vibration energy transmitted along the structure so as to reduce the vibration response of the structure.In this study,a shafting test bench was built to carry out the test.Taking the total level of shafting vibration acceleration as the evaluation index,the effects of installing particle damping vibration absorber and using high manganese base alloy material base with viscoelastic characteristics were analyzed.The results show that these two methods were effective for vibration reduction on propulsion shafting,which provide a technical support for vibration and noise control of propellers.
