Design and Research of Three-dimensional Tortuous Space and Metastructure Composite Array Mufflers
The difficult problem of eliminating the low frequency noise in exhaust and heat dissipation fan system is studied.Based on the acoustic metamaterial theory and impedance layout design method, and combining the advantages of good low-frequency sound absorption of metamaterial and high-frequency sound absorption of glass fiber cotton,a three-dimensional tortuous space and superstructural-composite muffler unit is designed.Multiple units with different sound absorption frequencies are combined and optimized and an array type silencer is proposed. The finite element analysis shows that, compared with the traditional resistance muffler, the three-dimensional torsional space and superstructure composite array muffler can improve the noise reduction effect by 5-26 dB at the frequency of 100 Hz and the range of 260-310 Hz.It has the advantage of wide band and efficient noise reduction and can be used for industrial large area and large-scale noise reduction.
