Analysis and Evaluation of Indoor Structural-borne Noise Characteristics in Ultra High-rise Structure above a Metro Depot
Domestic standards often use equivalent continuous A-weighted sound pressure level (ECAWSPL) to evalu-ate structure-borne noise induced by subway in the evaluation range of 16-200 Hz.However, the A-weighted sound pres-sure level significantly attenuates in the low-frequency portion. In this work, according to the measurement data in an ultra high-rise building above a metro depot, the distribution pattern of structure-borne noise was analyzed, and the applicability of the ECAWSPL was verified through the comparison of loudness. The results show that the frequency range of indoor noise in the ultra high-rise building decreases with the floor increasing, the higher the floor level is,the narrower the frequen-cy band is.When the frequency band of the analysis frequency changing from the standard-suggested 16-200 Hz to the actu-al frequency band distribution, the amplitude changing in the ECAWSPL is hardly to be detected by human audition, while the change in the loudness level can be clearly perceived by the human audition;the proportion of energy above 200 Hz is small, but its impact on loudness is significant and should not be ignored. If the ECAWSPL of 16-200 Hz is still used to es-timate the structure noise in ultra high-rise buildings in this case,it is very possible to underestimate its loudness. The results of this research have theoretical significance for effective evaluation of the structure-borne noise induced by subways.
