Exploring the Path of Ideological and Political Construction in Curriculum under the Background of New Liberal Arts——Taking the Course of"Traditional Chinese Culture"for English Majors as an Example
Compared to traditional liberal arts,new liberal arts is a restructuring of traditional liberal arts,achieving the intersection and integration between various liberal arts and natural sciences.Strengthening the study of ideological and political education in traditional Chinese cultural courses under the back-ground of the new liberal arts is an inevitable requirement of the educational and teaching objectives of"cultivating morality and cultivating talents",which can achieve correct guidance for contemporary college students'worldview,outlook on life,and values.This article takes the course"Traditional Chinese Culture"for English majors as an example to explore the characteristics of the new liberal arts,the importance of ideological and political construction in the course,and the effective path of integrating traditional Chinese culture courses with ideological and political education in the context of the new liberal arts.It proposes effective measures to carry out classroom ideological and political education in the course of"Traditional Chinese Culture"for English majors,To provide reference for achieving the organic unity of professional knowledge transmission and ideological and political education.
