GIS is an information technology system serving geography.Combining GIS and archaeology,it can be used to analyze the relationship between archaeological culture and geography.In this paper,GIS and archaeology are combined to conduct digital terrain analysis and hydrology analysis of Yongqing County.It is found that there is no"natural danger"and the conditions for building the Great Wall to resist the Liao army in Yongqing County.Therefore,a shocking military wonder-underground ancient battle road was built in Song and Liao Dynasty.
