Sitting and sleeping utensils are the necessities of People's Daily life,and have a close rela-tionship with economic mode and customs.Since the 20th century,with the great progress of Khitan ar-chaeological work,the disclosure of a large number of sitting and sleeping utensils has provided us with rich materials for in-depth understanding of the social life of Liao Dynasty.Most of the sitting and sleep-ing utensils of the Liao Dynasty have the characteristics of diversification,which also fully shows the diverse social life scenes of the Liao Dynasty and the cultural features of multi-ethnic exchanges and integration,demonstrating the Liao people's identification with the inheritance and innovation of Chinese skills and customs and culture,and is a vivid embodiment of the multi-ethnic integration pattern of the Chinese people.
