摩羯形象自东晋随佛教传入中国以来,不断与本土文化融合发展.辽代,摩羯形象的技艺处理与应用达到巅峰,形象刻画更为细腻,应用范围更为宽广,同时其文化内涵也更为丰富.辽朝社会普遍形成摩羯崇尚观念,这种观念是辽朝社会多元文化格局下的产物,受到唐代社会文化的影响,也是佛教文化的繁荣发展以及南北政治经济文化等多方面因素共同作用的结果,彰显了契丹人开放包容的民族性格以及民族大融合基础上高度的文化认同和能量汲取意识.
The Formation of the Concept of Upholding Capricorn Images in Liao Dynasty
The image of Capricorn has been continuously integrated and developed with local culture since it was introduced to China with Buddhism in the Dongjin Dynasty.In the Liao Dynasty,the technique and application of Capricorn imagery reached its peak,with more delicate depictions and a wider range of applications.At the same time,its cultural connotations were also more abundant.The Capricorn worship concept was widely formed in the Liao Dynasty society,which was a product of the multicultural pattern of the Liao Dynasty society.It was influenced by the Tang Dynasty social culture,as well as the prosper-ous development of Buddhist culture and the combined effects of various factors such as the political,e-conomic,and cultural aspects of the North and South.It demonstrated the open and inclusive national character of the Khitans,as well as a high degree of cultural identity and energy absorption consciousness based on national integration.
