Phonetic Analysis of Chinese Characters with Special Middle Mongol Language
The original Uyghur-mongolian The Secret History of the Mongols has been lost,and the cur-rent research is still based on the phonetic version of the Ming dynasty.Some of the Middle Mongol lan-guage are no longer used and their meanings have changed.Therefore,it is inevitable that some mistakes or inaccuracies will occur in the Middle Mongol language restoration of The Secret History of the Mon-gols.Based on the characteristics of Mongolian Chinese sounds in The Secret History of the Mongols,this paper analyzes and studies the special Chinese sounds in the book,put forward with"Seventy pot boiling"the interpretation of different views,that the word means a place name.
