Cultural Identity Seen in the Square Symbols of Prehistoric China
By definition, cultural identity is the recognition of a common culture between people or groups.Following common cultural concepts, adhering to common thinking patterns and behavioral norms are the basis of cultural identity. In this process, the two are not always the same, and sometimes there will be conflicts and contradictions, and the root of this conflict lies in cultural diversity, and under the continu-ous evolution and impetus of conflicts, the conflicts that achieve diversity have moved towards the same development path and promoted the development of civilization. In terms of content, cultural identity in-cludes values and beliefs, language and symbol systems, customs and traditions, art and literature, social organization and institutions,as well as thinking patterns and behavioral norms. These common characteris-tics form a sense of identity and cohesion within the cultural group, providing a common benchmark and reference for the positioning and interaction of individuals and groups in the society, and the development and evolution of a complete writing system is also full of many conflicts and identities, but it is also un-der the collision and friction of these constant conflicts and identities that the diverse characters can fi-nally find a unified form, form the current unified common language, and realize the current cultural i-dentity.
