A Study on Transliteration Norms in the English Translation of Chinese Traditional Culture Texts
In order to expand the influence of traditional Chinese culture internationally,an analysis is con-ducted on the transliteration of Chinese traditional culture texts into English,and the standards that need to be referred to in English transliteration are discussed. Firstly,the value and principles of transliteration in trans-lating Chinese traditional cultural texts into English are expounded,and the requirements for strengthening the standardization of transliteration are clarified. Next,it introduces the common types of transliteration in English translation of texts,including personal names,geographical culture,official job codes,literature and art,etc. Finally,based on the transliteration of Chinese traditional cultural texts into English,it summarizes the stan-dards that need to be referred to in transliteration,and understands the precautions that need to be taken in the transliteration of Chinese traditional cultural texts into English,so as to strengthen the standardization and accuracy of text translation,enhance the accuracy and standardization of Chinese traditional cultural English transliteration,and effectively improve the international influence of Chinese traditional culture.
