Study on the Current Status and Improvement Paths of College English Teachers' Teaching Competence in Curriculum-Based Ideological Education in Inner Mongolia in the New Era
Based on the Structural Model,the study examines the current status of college English teachers' competence in CIE in Inner Mongolia. The results show that teachers have the strongest cultivation literacy,followed by disciplinary knowledge,teaching competence,and global competence,all of which are at an above-average level. However,there is still room for improvement in teachers' scientific literacy. This article also proposes the main paths to enhance teachers' competence in CIE:strengthen the theoretical study of ideo-logical and political education for college English teachers;encourage teachers to jointly develop and share teaching resources,and establish a comprehensive resource sharing mechanism;establish a tracking and evalu-ation mechanism for the development of teachers' competence in CIE;provide policy support and resource guarantees to ensure that various enhancement strategies are effectively implemented.
