In the face of the current technological revolution and the new trend of the development of artificial intelligence,AI technology,as a representative of the forefront of digital technology,has also become a new method and technology in the field of landscape architecture at the moment.How AI combines with the landscape architecture space and the practice of specific design and construction processes is an important content of the future application of AI in the field of landscape architecture.This paper takes the application practice of emerging means of AI technology in the field of landscape architecture at home and abroad as the main research content,combs through the development process of the combination of AI technology and landscape architecture,it discusses the application classification of the combination of AI technology and the field of landscape architecture;it combines with the results of the current practice,and sums up the characteristics of the new landscape architecture produced by the application of AI technology.AI technology has a certain potential in the field of landscape architecture,but further research is still needed on the specific process,mechanism of action,depth of interaction,and interdisciplinary co-operation in the future related practice.
