A Comparative study on the Stone Construction Methods of Traditional Stone Dwellings in Four Regions
Stone is a widely used building material in traditional houses,and many traditional houses in many places are named stone houses because the main building material is stone.This paper selects four representative stone dwellings in four regions,starting from the type of stone,stone characteristics,and the construction methods of foundation,wall,roof,door and window openings built by stone,and reveals the similarities and differences in the construction methods of these four types of stone dwellings in terms of their geographical location,geomorphological environment,climatic conditions,and human customs,so as to provide reference for the inheritance and innovation of traditional architectural culture.
